Magnolia bark’s active constituent honokiol can help to reduce feelings of stress and has been shown to balance evening cortisol levels.
Vitamins B6, B12, and folinic acid are essential nutrients that are depleted by stress and are also important in maintaining adrenal cortex function, supporting stress related fatigue, and promoting energy recovery.
Ashwagandha and holy basil (tulsi) are considered stress-supporting and adaptogenic herbs that can affect the dopamine receptors in the corpus striatum of the brain and provide support for the body’s natural response to physical and emotional stress by balancing cortisol levels through influencing the HPA axis stress response.
